CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) Recording System
For public safety reasons, Noema has installed and operates a security system using surveillance cameras that monitor and record areas and equipment through an internal Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) system. The legal basis for this data processing is Directive 1/2011 (Ref. No. G/EX/2274/31.03.2011).
Recorded data does not leave Noema’s premises by any means or for any reason, except for the investigation of unlawful acts or serious security incidents. In such cases, access is strictly limited to specific recordings for a defined time period and only following written authorization from the supervising committee of the security system.
Refusal of Accommodation
Noema reserves the right to refuse accommodation to any person without prior notice and to immediately terminate any reservation without any obligation to provide a refund or compensation, for the following reasons:
- Failure to comply with the terms and conditions of the booking policy
- The reservation has been paid using fraudulent means
- Guests checking in are under 18 years of age, unless a registered legal guardian has officially assumed responsibility by signing the relevant authorization form after prior written notice to the hotel
- The person checking in is not, or cannot prove with valid official documents, to be the person named on the reservation confirmation
- Refusal to complete and/or sign the registration form
- Refusal to present a valid passport or identification document
- The guest’s level of personal hygiene is deemed unacceptable
- The guest is a carrier of a contagious disease
- Guests checking in are intoxicated and/or require medical assistance
- Any form of violent, abusive, or antisocial behavior toward hotel staff or other guests
Damages / Property Damage
Guests are kindly requested to report any damages or equipment malfunctions to the hotel reception within the first hour of arrival to their assigned room. Any damage discovered after this period may be considered as caused, intentionally or unintentionally, by the occupying guests.
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to guest rooms, hotel areas, or hotel property by themselves or by members of their party (regardless of whether such persons are staying at the hotel) during their stay.
Guests must compensate the hotel prior to departure for any damage or loss caused to the hotel or to other guests’ property during their stay.
Noema reserves the right to retain the details of your credit and/or debit card and to charge, at its sole discretion, any amounts deemed necessary to cover or offset losses, damages, costs, or expenses incurred by the hotel as a result of the above. If a room remains out of service for an extended period due to such damages, Noema may also claim compensation for the cost of lost revenue during this enforced downtime.
Independently, Noema reserves the right to initiate legal proceedings against guests whose behavior is considered illegal, violent, or degrading, without prior notice.
Guests’ Valuables
Upon arrival, guests must inform a member of the reception staff and provide a written and accurate declaration of all valuables and cash in their possession, as well as indicate whether they wish to use the hotel’s main safety deposit box for storage. Failure to do so releases the hotel from any liability in case of loss.
For other personal belongings, the hotel bears no responsibility if loss or damage is due to the negligence of the guest or accompanying/visiting persons.
The hotel is also not liable for any damage, destruction, or loss resulting from force majeure events (e.g. earthquake, fire, etc.).
In the event of a theft claim, the guest must be able to prove that their valuables were damaged, destroyed, or stolen due to fault and negligence on the part of the hotel, and that the items had the claimed value.
Any compensation payable by the hotel shall cover only the actual (not commercial) value of the item, reduced by at least 35% of its proven original value.
False claims or allegations are considered fraud. The hotel reserves the right to initiate legal action against individuals seeking unlawful or false claims or compensation and to pursue financial damages against any malicious attempt that harms the staff, guests, or reputation of the hotel.
Use of Common Areas
To ensure the comfort and pleasant stay of all guests, we kindly ask you to avoid occupying common areas beyond what is necessary.
Common areas are intended for use by all guests and must remain accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Please refrain from placing personal belongings (e.g. towels, clothing, food, luggage) on seating areas, tables, or other surfaces outside your guest room.
Furniture and shared spaces are intended for temporary use only and not for permanent occupation or “reservation.”
Your cooperation is essential in maintaining a pleasant and harmonious environment for all guests.
Such cases are handled on an individual basis.
